I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant tonight. The mushroom risotto was delicious! So creamy and full of flavor. The place is quiet and cozy. I really enjoyed it!
This week we decided to enjoy a friend’s birthday celebration at the newly named Italian restaurant Saporii. We were not disappointed. After a warm welcome, what we learned in conversation with the manager is that this not just a name change. Saporii (meaning tasty or flavour) is a new Italian restaurant with new owners, new management, new chef and new menu. The intention is to focus the menu to reflect an authentic Italian experience,concentrating on taste and flavour. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken ballotine, the crisp duck salad was much appreciated whilst the fettuccine bolognese was a flavoursome pasta dish. The inevitable rather large tiramisu had been made only hours earlier. With generous portions of well presented, delicious food and consistent great service, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. We look forward to a return visit soon.
Lovely Italian restaurant with great decor, spacious and light. Great food and good portions. My Bruschetta ai Funghi for starter was devine and my Salmone Arrosto for main was lovely. My desert of Banoffe was lovely and a big portion to, indeed all the desserts were great portions. Right in the town centre and definitely worth a visit
First time trying this restaurant and it’s absolutely lovely! Love that it’s family owned too. Food was amazing with portions being a great size. HIGHLY recommend the desserts- it’s homemade and amazing! We got the banana pie and berry cheesecake and it was to die for!
My husband, son and I went to Saporri for the first time tonight. The food was amazing (we loved the new menu), service was great, and it had a lovely atmosphere. We will be back soon and we highly recommend it!
A wonderful restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We went there for our son's 18th birthday, and they even organized a candle, sang "Happy Birthday," and prepared a beautiful little cake. We will definitely be returning. Wonderful people. Thank you for an amazing evening.
We had an early evening meal when the restaurant was quite quiet. The dinner was beautifully presented and very tasty. We were served by Matteo and Paulina who were very attentive. We will definitely go back.
Had a really lovely meal at Saporii in Didcot this evening for the daughter’s 30th. Lovely atmosphere really friendly! Food was really authentic Italian food. Service was exceptional nothing was too much trouble! Our waiter Matteo and another lovely member couldn’t have looked after us better - thank you! Will definately be returning
